After blanching, the kernels are individually quick frozen to retain bright green color, natural sweetness, and a firm yet tender bite. Edible after thaw, mukimame offers convenience and commonly used for salads, rice bowls, soups, stir-fries, bento, frozen ready meals, and foodservice menus.
