BQF Pumpkin Puree
BQF Frozen Pumpkin Purée is produced from clean, healthy, fully ripened pumpkins. The raw pumpkins are received, washed, peeled, crushed, passed through a fine screen to achieve a smooth consistency, heat treated, packed and rapidly frozen to protect natural colour, flavour and texture. The purée shows a consistent orange tone, smooth body and a naturally sweet pumpkin aroma with no off-notes. This product is used in soups, sauces, ready meals, bakery fillings, desserts, baby food and seasonal applications, and is supplied to food manufacturers, foodservice, industrial kitchens and private label customers.
