IQF Frozen Carrot Slices are made from fresh carrots that are washed, peeled, trimmed, sliced, lightly blanched, and individually quick frozen (IQF) to keep each piece free-flowing and help maintain colour, texture and flavour. Slices show a bright natural orange to deep orange typical of mature carrots. After cooking, texture is tender—not woody, fibrous or mushy—with a clean sweet carrot taste and normal aroma, free from off-odors. Our well trained QC team inspects slices throughout processing to help ensure they are practically free from defects or foreign material, ideal for soups, ready meals, stir fry, sauces and meal prep.
