Produced from fresh, clean, sound, and ripe berries, the berries are washed, sorted, pulped, and frozen under strict sanitary controls to help maintain natural color, aroma, and strawberry flavor during frozen storage and distribution. Frozen strawberry puree is widely used in beverages, smoothies, dairy preparations, ice cream, desserts, bakery fillings, jams, sauces, fruit preparations, and other further processing applications.
To meet different product uses, frozen strawberry puree can be supplied in with seeds and without seeds specifications. With seeds options are available in 1.0–1.5 mm and 3.0 mm, while without seeds options are available in 0.3–0.5 mm and 0.5–0.7 mm. Standard product parameters include Brix: 6–8 and pH: 3.0–6.0. These specifications help processors choose the right puree for different formulations, texture requirements, and finished product performance.
