Potato wedges can be used as side dishes, sharing platters, appetisers and snack menu items in restaurants, cafés, pubs, QSR and other foodservice operations. Different product and packing specifications are available according to customer requirements.
Seasoned or Unseasoned
Frozen potato wedges are available seasoned or unseasoned.
Seasoned wedges can be produced with different seasoning requirements according to customer specifications.
Unseasoned wedges are supplied without added seasoning and are suitable for menus where seasoning, sauces or dips are added during preparation or serving.
Skin-on or Skin-off
Skin-on potato wedges retain the potato skin and have a more rustic appearance, commonly used for casual dining, sharing platters and snack menus.
Skin-off potato wedges have a cleaner and more uniform surface appearance.
Skin specification can be selected according to the required product and menu style.

Processing
Selected potatoes are washed, sorted and cut into wedge-shaped pieces.
Depending on the product specification, the wedges are blanched, seasoned when required, pre-fried, quick frozen and packed.
Quality Inspection
SINOFROST's QC team conducts inspections during production and before shipment.
Checks may include wedge size, cut consistency, colour, texture, broken pieces, visible defects and seasoning distribution. Packing condition and net weight can also be checked according to confirmed requirements.
Packing for Foodservice
Different bag and carton sizes are available for foodservice requirements. Private label packaging, including bags, cartons and labels, is available according to customer requirements.
