SINOFROST supplies frozen French fries in different cuts, sizes and specifications for importers, distributors, wholesalers, foodservice companies, restaurant chains and supermarkets.
Straight cut French fries are available in 7×7 mm, 9×9 mm, 10×10 mm, 12×12 mm and 14×14 mm. Other product options include shoestring fries, crinkle cut fries and additional frozen potato products. According to customer requirements, French fries can be supplied coated or uncoated, skin-on or skin-off, seasoned or plain.
Product Specifications
French fries can be produced according to agreed product specifications. In addition to cut size, specifications may include fry length, length distribution, colour, texture, coating condition, short pieces, broken pieces, visible defects and packing weight.
As French fries are cut from whole potatoes, strip length naturally varies. Length distribution and the permitted level of short or broken pieces can therefore be agreed according to the required product specification.
During sorting, irregular pieces and visible defects such as slivers, short thick pieces, sugar ends, black spots and green discolouration are checked. The finished product is also inspected for cut consistency, colour and surface appearance. For coated fries, coating coverage and surface condition can be checked according to the confirmed specification.
Quality Inspection
SINOFROST's QC team conducts inspections during production and before shipment. Checks are carried out against the agreed product and packing specifications and may include size and thickness, length distribution, short and broken pieces, frying colour, visible defects, coating condition, texture, foreign matter and net weight.
Inner bags and cartons are also checked for sealing, printing, packing quantity, carton condition and shipping marks before shipment.
Flexible Packing & Private Label
Common packing options include 10×1 kg/ctn, 6×2 kg/ctn and 4×2.5 kg/ctn, with other packing specifications available according to customer requirements.
Flexible packing is available for foodservice and retail requirements. Private label bags, boxes, cartons and labels can also be prepared according to customer requirements, including relevant product and packing information.
Partner factories may hold BRC, ISO, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER and other certifications, depending on the product, factory and destination-market requirements.
