Sinofrost supplies frozen French fries from China in a range of cuts, sizes and packing formats for importers, distributors, QSR chains, restaurants, foodservice companies, wholesalers and supermarkets.
Straight cut French fries are available in 7×7 mm, 9×9 mm, 10×10 mm, 12×12 mm and 14×14 mm, together with shoestring fries, crinkle cut fries and other frozen potato products. Available options include coated or uncoated, seasoned or plain, and skin-on or skin-off.
Thin-cut fries are suitable for menus requiring a lighter portion and shorter preparation time, while medium and thick cuts provide a fuller potato texture. Coated fries, uncoated fries and different cut styles allow distributors and foodservice companies to build a broader frozen potato range for different restaurant and supermarket requirements.
Product Specifications
In addition to cut size, the product specification may include fry length, length distribution, colour, texture, coating condition, short pieces, broken pieces, visible defects and packing weight.
French fries produced from whole potatoes naturally contain different strip lengths. Length grading can therefore be specified according to the required product grade and market positioning. The permitted levels of short pieces, broken fries and irregular cuts may also be confirmed before production.
Sorting removes slivers, short thick pieces, sugar ends, black or green discolouration and other fries that do not meet the agreed specification. This helps maintain a more uniform appearance throughout each bag and carton.
The finished product is expected to retain a recognisable potato structure, with a consistent cut, natural potato colour and the required surface appearance. Coated products are checked for even coating coverage, while uncoated fries are inspected for surface condition and cut uniformity.
Inspection and Packing
Our QC team inspects the products in the factory according to the confirmed specifications, including:
- Size and thickness uniformity
- Length distribution
- Short and broken pieces
- Frying colour
- Black spots and discolouration
- Sugar ends and visible defects
- Coating coverage and surface condition
- Texture
- Foreign matter
- Net weight
Inner bags and master cartons are checked for sealing, printing, packing quantity, carton condition and shipping marks. Frozen storage and loading conditions are also checked before shipment.
Available with BRC, ISO, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER and other certifications.
Common packing formats include 10×1 kg/ctn, 6×2 kg/ctn and 4×2.5 kg/ctn. Private label inner bags and cartons are available, with product information, nutrition facts, ingredient and allergen declarations, barcodes, preparation instructions and importer details prepared according to destination-market requirements.
